Pre-Post Transplant Photos

How I came to Los Angeles... The following photos were taken in the weeks before and after my heart transplant in June of 2004.

Albuquerque, New Mexico: "Mr. Searcey, you need a heart transplant or you're probably going to die. New Mexico doen't do heart transplants so you'll have to choose another facility"

Small airplane in Albuquerque: "I'm going to Los Angeles to UCLA where I hope to get a new heart."

30 days later: I'm Good-to-Go. I have a new heart and life is GREAT!

It feels good to be strong and healthy again.
